About the event
In 2023, Portimão proudly hosted the largest and most successful Hansa Class Adaptive Sailing World Championship ever organized. Building on this remarkable achievement, the championship will return to Portimão for its second edition from 1 to 10 October 2026. Over nearly two weeks, the event will bring a vibrant celebration of inclusive sailing to the city, with approximately 300 athletes expected to participate from around the world.
